Price accuracy
We record the price shown on the provider product page, rather than relying on a search result or an old listing. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and we note when a provider displays a promotional price.
How we compare
Choosing a blood test is a personal decision. Our job is narrower: make the prices and practical differences easier to compare, while being honest about what a table can and cannot tell you.
We record the price shown on the provider product page, rather than relying on a search result or an old listing. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and we note when a provider displays a promotional price.
Each listed price carries a last-verified date. Our price monitoring process checks provider pages for changes, but you should still confirm the final price before buying.
We group tests by the health marker or panel they measure. Where tests differ in scope, sample type, result time, or collection method, those differences remain visible in the comparison.
We include providers with publicly available UK blood-test products and enough information for a useful comparison. A provider is not ranked lower because it has a smaller catalogue.
Listings include the test name, category, price, results time, collection method, and a link to the provider where that information is available. Missing details are shown as unavailable rather than guessed.
The default ordering is based on the selected filter or price sort, not on commission. A featured placement or best-value label must not be read as a medical recommendation.
We publish provider information, accreditation details where available, review information, and affiliate disclosures. We do not provide diagnoses, interpret individual results, or replace advice from a qualified clinician.
A comparison is only useful if people can read it and act on it. We check links, keep the tables searchable, and design for mobile as well as desktop.
The Best Value label identifies the lowest comparable listed price for a test group when more than one visible provider offers that test. It does not judge clinical quality, suitability, speed, or the provider's customer service. Two providers with the same lowest price can both receive the label.
Before ordering, check what is included, how your sample is collected, when results are expected, and whether the test is appropriate for your situation.
Some links to providers are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. That commercial relationship does not change the price shown or the default price ordering. See our affiliate disclosure for more detail.
