What Does This Test Check?
The PLAC Activity test measures Lp-PLA2, an enzyme linked to inflammation inside the walls of your arteries. Higher activity may signal a greater risk of plaque build-up and stroke or heart disease, on top of what standard cholesterol numbers show.
