What Does This Test Check?

The Stomach Cancer check looks for Helicobacter pylori, the bacterium that can infect the stomach lining and is a known risk factor for stomach ulcers and stomach cancer. Detecting H. pylori early is the aim of the screen, rather than diagnosing cancer directly.
