What Does This Test Check?

These tests look for coronavirus antibodies, proteins that signal a past immune response to the virus that causes COVID-19.

Both tests on this page are from Medichecks, the Coronavirus Antibody Blood Test at £69 and a bundled version with a vitamin D check at £109. The pair share one provider, so the only comparison is adding the vitamin D screen for an extra £40.

Antibodies may indicate prior exposure to the virus, but they do not measure current protection and a result should be discussed with a GP rather than read as a guarantee.
