What Does This Test Check?

These tests measure C-reactive protein, or CRP, with a high-sensitivity method that flags even low levels of inflammation in the body.

Three providers are listed, Medichecks at £39 with Forth and YorkTest both at £41. Medichecks is the cheapest, while the other two sit side by side on price, so the real difference tends to be in the wider panels each test bundles.

Raised CRP may indicate inflammation somewhere in the body, but it does not say where or why and many factors can affect it, so the result should be discussed with a GP.
